GPS attendance without eroding employee trust

Geofenced clock-ins solve a real problem: proving that contracted work happened where it was promised. They also raise legitimate privacy concerns.
The principle that works is proportionality. Capture a location fix at clock-in and clock-out, not continuously. Disable tracking outside rostered hours by default.
Tell your team exactly what is captured, who can see it and how long it is retained. Publish it as a policy and require acknowledgement.
Teams accept verification when it is clearly about the contract, not the person.
